Wright Memorial Trail
To Scouters / Hikers:
Due to both the creation of the Huffman Flying Field Historical Park, and 9/11, the practical portion of the Wright Memorial Trail now resides entirely on National Park Service and Public property, and no special permission is required. Due to new fence boundaries, there is no longer a circuit hike from the Wright-Patterson AFB Scout Camp area. Additonally, WPAFB access has become more rigid. To enter WPAFB for camping and/or hiking you need permission. Permission must be secured through the Base Scouting Office. The Scouting Office Address is:
